Collaborating with Simon Robson from Engine, this project required me to design and illustrate an array of Australian native plants and animals to populate the stylised environment that he has in mind. Simon, myself and Max (Head of 3D at Engine) had numerous conversations about how these animals would move, what they would be made of, and so on. Our goal was to create a host of creatures that are endearing without being overly cute as well as handcrafted without feeling stiff or unnatural.
